President’s Blog
Welcome to my official blog as President of Baruch College. I created this space to share ideas, research, and perspectives that impact the campus community, higher education, and society at large. Through this blog, my intention is to examine a wide variety of topics and issues, pose critical questions, and promote the exchange of ideas.
Included in these pages are my blog posts since 2020 organized in five thematic segments. My intention is to create a curated journey through the musings and reflections as I started my tenure in July 2020. The reverse chronological order of the posts within each segment not only traces the development of these themes over time but also reflects the progression of thought and experience that has shaped my thinking since I arrived at Baruch College.
As we traverse the realms of higher education, leadership, and societal change, these blog posts—originally penned as standalone insights—hopefully weave a narrative that challenges, inspires, and provokes thoughts. I want to invite interested readers to reflect on the interplay between personal growth and communal progress, the impact of technology, and the enduring power of resilience.
